Medicine Lodge Peace Treaty Festival

This September in Medicine Lodge is the Peace Treaty Festival where we commemorate our heritage with powwows, rodeos, a concert, parade, art show, crafts and much more! The Intertribal Powwow features dancing celebrations and competitions in our beautiful powwow grounds at Memorial Peace Park. This year’s rodeos include the Kansas Championship Ranch Rodeo on Friday, and – back by popular demand – the Buckapalooza Rodeo on Saturday night featuring bull and bronc riding, followed by a concert from Kaitlyn Kilian! Catch a scene from the historical night show at the bean feed at the Stockade Museum, and don’t miss the wagon rides, vendor fair, food trucks, Chamber activities on Main Street and much more!
